Start with the questions, not the tool
Scroll back through a week of your group and write down what people asked more than twice. Price, opening hours, how to join the paid channel, where the rules are, whether the event is still on. That list is your auto-reply list. Anything that came up once is not a candidate, however tempting it is to automate.
Set up the module
Add your bot to the group as an admin with permission to read and send messages. In the BotLaunch dashboard open the group, turn on auto-responses and add one entry per question: the trigger words, and the reply. The configuration lives in the web dashboard, so there is nothing to code and nothing to type into the bot.
Pick triggers that do not misfire
A trigger on the single word price will fire every time someone mentions a price in passing. Use the phrase people actually type, such as how much or what does it cost, and test it in the group yourself. If a reply fires where it should not, narrow the trigger before you add more.
Write replies a person would write
Two sentences are enough. Answer the question, then point to where the detail lives, usually the pinned message or your shop. A reply that repeats the whole rules page every time will be muted by the members it was meant to help.
Check it after a week
Look at which replies fired and whether people kept asking afterwards. A question that keeps coming even with an auto-reply means the answer is unclear, not that the bot is broken. Welcome messages and triggers are part of the Starter plan at $15 a month; the free plan covers basic moderation, CAPTCHA and anti-spam for one channel.
