Organise by age, then by occasion
The first question a toy buyer has is whether the thing suits the child. Age ranges as categories answer that before any product photo does. Add a birthday and a gifting shelf, because those are the two reasons most orders exist in the first place.
Say what is in the box
Piece counts, battery requirements, and the size of the assembled thing. Every one of those becomes a message to you if it is missing from the page, and each message is a delay that can lose the order to a shop that answered on the page.
Safety information belongs in the description
Small parts, recommended minimum age, materials. Parents look for it and its absence reads as carelessness. It also saves you the awkward conversation after delivery.
Gifting is half the job
Offer a gift note and say plainly if the price can be left off the packing slip. Gift cards cover the buyer who does not want to guess at all. These are small features that decide between you and a marketplace for exactly the orders worth the most.
After the season
Keep the birthday shelf alive all year. Seasonal shops go quiet in February, and the ones that do not are usually the ones that kept a reason to visit outside December.
