Food made in batches needs a date, not a cart that never closes
A small producer does not have a warehouse. There is this week's cheese, this month's preserves, the smoked fish that comes out on Friday. Write that into the product itself: the batch date or the pickup day in the name or first line of the description. Buyers of good food are patient when they know when, and annoyed when they do not.
When a batch is gone, hide the product rather than leaving it up with an apology. Put it back when the next one is ready and post in the channel.
Ingredients and allergens go on the page
This is the question you will get most, so answer it before anyone asks. List ingredients and name the common allergens in plain words. Add weight or volume and how long it keeps. A food page with that information reads as a serious producer; one without it reads as a hobby.
Boxes and gift sets
Deli boxes are where a small food shop makes its margin, and the bundles block is made for them: a cheese board of three, a tasting set of preserves, a breakfast box. Price the box as one number or as a discount on the parts, and the order still tells you what to put inside.
