What you are actually replacing
People who search for this are usually running a group that grew past hand moderation. They want spam gone, newcomers verified, repeat offenders handled by a rule rather than by them, and a weekly number that says whether the group is alive. That is the job, and any tool worth switching to has to do all of it.
BotLaunch covers it from a web dashboard: anti-spam and anti-flood, CAPTCHA on join, word and link filters, warnings that escalate to a ban, raid protection, and analytics on engagement, messages and member growth. You toggle each module per channel; there is nothing to code.
The part that is different
A community tool stops at the community. If the group is where you also sell, you end up with a second product for the selling part, and the two never meet.
BotLaunch puts a storefront on the same bot. Customers browse and order inside the chat, and the orders arrive where the conversation already is. If you never sell anything, ignore it and use the moderation half; the free plan does not charge for the part you skip.
What it costs
Free covers one channel with moderation, CAPTCHA, anti-spam and basic analytics. Starter is $15 a month for up to three channels with the full moderation suite, welcomes and triggers. Pro is $39 for up to ten channels, advanced analytics and AI features. Business is $99 for unlimited channels, paid memberships and your own branded bot. See Pricing for the full table.
Switching without a gap
Add your bot to the channel as an admin and turn the modules on. Run both tools for a week if you want: they do not fight, and you will see which reports you actually read. Turn the old one off when you stop opening it.
One thing to check on day one is privacy mode. A bot only sees group messages if it is an admin or has privacy mode disabled in BotFather, and the moderation modules need those messages to do anything.
