Sort by the person, not the product
Nobody looks for a ceramic mug. They look for something for their sister. Name your categories after the people and the occasions: for her, for him, for kids, for a colleague, birthday, new home. The same product can sit in two categories, and it should.
Add price bands too. A buyer with a budget in mind wants to see only what fits it.
Gift boxes do the choosing
The most useful thing a gift shop can offer is a decision already made. Build boxes from your products with the bundles block: a spa box, a coffee lover's box, a desk set. One photo, one price, one tap. Keep a few at different prices so there is always one that fits.
Gift cards for the truly undecided
When the buyer does not know what to pick, a gift card lets the person receiving it choose. Gift cards are one of the content blocks, and they are the last-minute gift that never arrives late.
The message and the wrapping
Ask in chat, right after the order, whether it should be wrapped and what the card should say. It is a natural thing to ask in a conversation and an awkward thing to fit into a form. For delivery straight to the recipient, confirm the address and the date in the same thread. Orders are fulfilled by you, so you decide what you can promise.
Before the busy season
Put the season's boxes on the home page a few weeks early and announce them in your channel. On the Growth plan at $49 a month you can add discount codes for early buyers. The ready-made designs include gift shop looks if you want to start from one.
